    • SUNBURN Pool Lounge is the Saturday rooftop pool destination at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Featuring 75 VIP cabanas, daybeds pool couches, fire pits and more, a food court with tacos and pizza, 4 bars and fun interactive games, SUNBURN is the San Diego Saturday hotspot you won't want to miss out on.

    • 12pm-6:30pm

  • Where is SUNBURN Pool Lounge Located?

    • SUNBURN Pool Lounge is located at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, 207 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. The entrance is on Fifth Avenue between starbucks and The Old Spaghetti factory.

  • How much is admission to SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • Tickets start at $10 and go up depending on the day, demand and talent. Season Passes and Single Tickets can be purchased at sunburnpool.com.

  • How do I get on the guest list for SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • There is no guest list for SUNBURN. All events are ticketed and can be purchased at sunburnpool.com.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

  • As a ticket holder, what am I entitled to?

    • Your ticket guarantees you entry into SUNBURN Pool Lounge before 3pm, as long as the venue is not at capacity. However, SUNBURN reserves the right to refuse entry, at their discretion, for any reason, including dress code, over-intoxication, and other reasons.

  • What if I lose my ticket for SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • If you purchased your ticket online, you can email us at info@sunburnpool.com to request that we re-send your e-ticket. If you lose it day of, we can look up your ticket by name, and entry will be granted as long as the ticket has not yet been scanned.

  • Can you scan my ticket from my phone?

    • Yes

  • Does SUNBURN Pool Lounge allow re-entry?

    • There is no re-entry for General Admission tickets. VIP guests & Rock Royalty members have re-entry access all day.

  • Where can I find the information about upcoming Saturdays at SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

  • How old do I have to be to get in? Can I bring kids?

    • SUNBURN Pool Lounge is 21-and-up so no children are allowed.

  • What can I bring into SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • Small purses (no larger than 6”x12” - anything larger will need to be checked at the door at your own expense. Cash only)

  • How do I make a table reservation at SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • If you’re interested in a table reservation at SUNBURN Pool Lounge email vip@sunburnpool.com.

  • How do cabana and daybed reservations work?

    • VIP table service is based on a food & beverage minimum. Admission is included for a specific number of people based on your minimum. For more information, email vip@sunburnpool.com.

  • How does a food & beverage minimum work?

    • A Food & beverage minimum is an agreement by your party to spend a specific amount on food & drinks at your cabana, daybed or table.

  • Are tip and tax included in the minimum?

    • Like most venues and service-based industries, the tip & tax is not included, and is in addition to the minimum.

  • What is the process for checking into my table reservation?

    • Table check-in for SUNBURN Pool Lounge starts at 12pm and is located at the main SUNBURN entrance on 5th avenue, marked by the SUNBURN flags and podium . If you aren't sure where to go, the Hard Rock Hotel front desk can direct you.

  • What time do I need to check into my table reservation?

    • Your reservation will be held until 2pm; after that it will be subject to relocation.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS

  • How do I make a VIP table reservation online?   

  • Am I able to pay the full table minimum online?

    • No, however you will need to pay for the $100 online table deposit with a debit or credit card. You will then pay the full minimum (minus the $100 deposit) in cash or credit the day of.

  • What is owed when I arrive at the venue?  

    • The table minimum you’ve previously agreed upon when reserving the table, plus tax and gratuity.

MISC QUESTIONS

  • What type of music is played at SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • Open format music is played at SUNBURN Pool Lounge every week. This is a mixture of EDM- Electronic Dance Music, Top 40 and hip-hop.

  • Can I charge my tab to my room?

    • No room charges are permitted at SUNBURN Pool Lounge.

  • What is the dress code for SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • Pool and swim wear attire is required for all guests.

    • No baggy clothing, jeans, long socks, sweatpants, basketball/gym shorts or rolled up pants

    • No sport jerseys

    • Bags & backpacks must be checked

    • NO attire that advertises or promotes drug use

  • If I’m staying at the hotel do I need a ticket for SUNBURN Pool Lounge?

    • Yes, we provide two complimentary tickets per room for guests when they check into the hotel. Tickets are valid until 3pm and entry is always subject to capacity. If you have more than two people in your group as a hotel guest, the additional guests will need to purchase a ticket online or pay cover at the door.

  • Is there a bag check?

    • Yes! Any bags/purses larger than 6”x12” will need to be placed back in your vehicle or checked upon entry at your own expense. Bag check is cash payment only and costs $6 per item.

  • What is the SUNBURN Pool Lounge ticket refund policy?

    • There are no refunds for tickets or packages purchased prior to or at SUNBURN Pool Lounge. Please see the full refund policy found on your online ticket confirmation email. Our ticketing system (NIGHTOUT) does offer a Refund Protection Fee that can be added to your order at the time of Ticket purchase. This is a third-party company, so any refunds will come directly from them.
